The Beach model Oru Kayak is the standard foldable kayak for casual flat water adventures. It offers more room than our smaller Inlet model, and is perfect to carry a little extra for picnic supplies and beach towels. The Beach is the perfect kayak for beginners, as it offers a wider and more stable hull shape, and a generous amount of room in the cockpit. For more experience kayakers, it still offers the speed and agility you’d expect from a kayak its size.

Our boats are lightweight but extraordinarily strong. They're created from 5 mm double-layered, custom-extruded polypropylene with a 10-year UV treatment. Translation? Oru Kayaks are incredibly puncture abrasion resistant and built to last. They can withstand sliding over rocks, bumping into obstacles, and folding up tens of thousands of time.
